Training at the University of Genoa (Italy) – Erasmus+ ESGCA project

Adilya Abdieva, Vice-Rector of APAPKR, took part in a training course at the University of Genoa (Italy) within the framework of the Regional Project “ESGCA - Combining Environmental Issues, Public Needs and Good Governance in the Education and Employment Sectors of Central Asia” of the ERASMUS+ program of the European Commission on the topic: “ESG Agenda and Public Governance”.

The objectives of the training program in Genoa:

To present interdisciplinary ESG principles related to sustainability and governance, with the aim of developing recommendations for the development of new curricula and the organization of educational and research activities for the ESG Master's program in Central Asian universities.

The topics of the courses presented during the training focused on social sciences, raising awareness of social sustainability in the academic environment.

Practical recommendations are provided on how businesses and academic institutions can collaborate to align ESG efforts with global sustainable development goals.
