The Academy participates in the Erasmus+ ESGCA International Seminar “Environmental Communication: An Essential Tool for Sustainable Development”

From September 9 to 12, 2025, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the Erasmus+ ESGCA international seminar dedicated to environmental communication and sustainable development.
The seminar brought together leading universities and organizations from Central Asia and Europe, including the University of Genoa (Italy, project coordinator), the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tajik National University, Issyk-Kul State University, and other academic and professional partners.
The four-day program focused on key aspects of ESG and sustainable development:
- Day 1: Introduction to ESG and environmental challenges;
- Day 2: Carbon footprint, water and waste management;
- Day 3: ESG and the future of university education
- Day 4: Round table with higher education institutions, government officials, and business representatives ESG and the future of higher education, preparing the next generation of specialists;
APAPKR’s participation in the seminar strengthened international cooperation, facilitated the exchange of knowledge, and provided opportunities to implement advanced approaches to environmental communication and sustainable development. The Academy reaffirms its commitment to ESG principles and intends to actively apply the insights and practices gained to its educational programs and the professional development of public servants.
This event marked a significant step in advancing international academic partnerships and contributes to promoting sustainable development, innovation, and social responsibility in Central Asia and beyond.
