The event was titled "Effective Cooperation between Government Bodies and Civil Society in Preventing Corruption" and was organized in partnership with the Academy and supported by the UNDP. Representatives from government, local authorities, civil society, international organizations, and academics attended.

In her welcoming speech, the Rector of the Academy, Aigul Kalchakeeva, emphasized the importance of educational and research-based approaches in creating a sustainable anti-corruption culture.

She stated that the Academy is not only becoming an educational hub, but also an active platform for promoting anti-corruption initiatives. She mentioned that together with their partners, they are preparing a new generation of specialists who will be able to implement effective solutions in practice.

During the forum, issues of strategic cooperation between the government and society, as well as mechanisms for increasing transparency and real initiatives aimed at preventing corruption at the local level were discussed.

One of the segments of the event focused on presentations by Master's students from the Academy's "Effective Governance and Anti-Corruption" master's program. These students presented initiatives aimed at reducing corruption risks in areas such as architecture, social policy, and parliamentary affairs.

The forum concluded with a summary of the discussions and the development of recommendations for further strengthening collaboration between government bodies and civil society organizations.
